Multi Boot Physical Machines

When I try to convert a multi-boot physical machine to a virtual machine using VMware Converter, it hangs "retrieving operating system information". When I change the IP address of the source to a single OS physical machine, it starts OK.

  Can we build a virtual machine from a multi-boot physical machine?
