I am attempting to import a live XP sp2 machine to a Linux Workstation 5.5 VM. I get this error at 3% done. Has anyone else seen this? I've searched the forum and the KB but to no avail.
The complete error is:
Registry hive (file): Z:\ufa13.tmp was corrupted and it has been recovered. Some data might have been lost.
In spite of the fact it implies my registry is corrupt, this would seem to me to be an internal error. As far as I can discern, the registry on the source machine is fine (several tools and check later).
If it matters, every time I run it (3 in all), it gives me a different file name (but that is kind of expected with a .tmp file).
I'm also running the beta from the CD live on the source box, so I do not know how to get to any log files.
(maybe I should post this elsewhere, but why won't it let me eject the CD when I want to reboot? As it is, I power it off mid-app and remove the CD before reboot.)
