VDDK 1.2.1, ESX 5 - hotadd not supported?

Hi!

I get the following error:

using transport hotadd failed : Failed to hot-add SCSI targets: This operation is not supported

VMware ESXi 5.0.0 build-474610

Any ideas? Why is that special, why is it unsupported?
